Thankful Thursday-God’s Encouragement

As human with a corruptible body in this corruptible world, we really get tired physically, emotionally, mentally and also spiritually. When we face much life’s challenges and trials, slowly then we become tired and become very much stressful. Our hearts no longer want to receive and bear much pain. Our minds want to rest for a while after a great bewilderment. It wanted to stop thinking and be free from all stressful thoughts.

But what bothers most?

It bothers most if spiritually we felt so empty. Seems everything is falling down unto us and the weights causes much heaviness in the yoke that we are currently situated. We wanted to be happy, but it’s really hard to take the effort and make a step to be happy. As result, the excitement to work deviates. The eagerness to accomplish different work deadlines diminishes. Then slowly we become weak and lose life. That’s what I’m experiencing from the previous week. But thank God I get back through the right track again.

It was really so disappointing to know that others were talking about you negatively, even though you have done no wrong unto them. That all you did for them was all out of love, purity and righteousness. But others don’t see it as it is. They took all of it negatively. Their minds were so malicious and their acts showed contempt. They were so pessimistic. All you did was good, but for them it’s negative. When God abundantly bless you and made you prosper, they envied you and wanted to pull you down from the top. It is really true that we really can’t please everybody.

From this unwanted experience, I never stop talking and communicating with God. And I am so thankful that He really didn’t fail me. His words comforted me, reminded me and encouraged me. Just as this morning during our daily office devotion, the Lord encouraged me again with his words that says; “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:5. Also from 1 Peter 3:13-14; “Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.” Praise God for His goodness!

Have a very much Thankful Thursday everyone!
God Bless you all!
