Great True Love Waits 2012 Marriage Proposal

February 24, 2012, was really a very awesome Friday, it was dad's 65th Birthday. Also, the schedule of church's True Love Waits (TLW) Concert, a Post Valentine presentation every second month of the year. It was really a very hectic day for me, I had so much task to be done in relation to my work and had to finish all the bookmarks and chastity covenant card for the concert. When the bell rang on 5:00P.M, I really hurried off my work and went to church to witness the TLW Concert entitled "Love on Trial" which is scheduled on 5:00 P.M.

I arrived in church at around 6:30 and the program have already started. Since it was dad's birthday, I have to leave early and must be home by 8:00. Hence, I informed my fellow believers in Christ that I must go home early. And it worried them knowing that I am already about to leave. So they hurried to our Youth pastor, Reverend "John" Fancubit, informing him that I'm leaving. Thus,Pastor John searched for me and requested me to stay and to wait for the concert to end. He said that we have some matters to discuss. So as an obedient one, I stayed and decided to wait until the program will end. However, before the concert ended, a great surprise awaited me.

When my bestbro Josh, called Pastor John to bring the evidence of the one who believes in True Love Waits; Pastor John went to my seat and brought me on the stage. Questions and questions filled me, I don't know what was going on then. "Why am I here? Why did Pastor John brought me here in front of the audience? What's my part in here? What am I to do? What's going on?..."

Slowly then Genesis came over the stage holding a ring with a Jade pendant on it. Then my tears started flowing like rain because of the great adrenaline felt. Genesis knelt down in front of me and said this breath-taking line? "...Will You Marry Me?" (With the audience cheering...) To my great surprise and great joy and happiness, I can't find the words to say! Even my tongue got tied up and my voice was lost. Felt like I became mute. When I answered "Yes,..." then finally I was able to breathe again and it made me realized that my chubby was proposing. I felt like I'm dreaming and floating in the clouds. :) Then it came to my understanding that my sisters and brothers in church prepared that great surprise for me. And I am now engaged with Mr. Genesis Rufino.

I really Praise God for what had happened and thank God for those who planned and did the great surprise. To God be all the Glory!

BPC-Still Joyful Even in Sickness

Still we were thankful to God even though Genesis was sick during this time. This was last August 6, 2011, the day before Genesis' birthday.
Sick but still able and has all the reasons to be joyful and happy. With a bonus date at Jollibee-Gateway, Lapasan and bonding with the smiling Bee Mascot. :)

(My apology for the blurry pictures.)

BPC-Praising and Worshipping GOD in All Circumstances

"Typhoon Sendong Volunteers"

The photos were taken last January 8, 2012, Sunday. The time when Genesis and Sarah were both admitted at Capitol University Medical Center. They were both Operation Blessing and Kagay-an Evangelical Disaster Response Network (KEDRN) volunteers who helped in the clean-up drive operations, Relief Goods Distribution, and Debriefing and Feeding Program for the Typhoon Sendong victims. Genesis (left) was attacked and infected by Leptospira bacteria and was diagnosed with Leptospirosis and Sarah (Right) had Dengue Fever.

Even though they were both sick, still their faith in God remained. The more they thank God and experienced His awesome power and love. Since they can't join the Sunday Service in church, what they did was read their Bible with alternate verse reading and discussed God's message. It was so nice to see them doing such heart-warming and soul lifting acts, so inspiring.

After their Bible devotion,God surprised us with the doctor's report. Genesis already passed the critical stage. His white blood cells already returned to its normal count so as with his red blood cells. Same with Sarah, her platelet count returned to normal. We really thank God for what He did. He is the Great Healer.

We are so blessed that our brothers and sisters in Christ were so supportive. Our Parents, Friends, Bothers and Sisters, Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and leaders in church really supported, encouraged and prayed. God met all our needs and have given us the right persons to be with. He really is worthy of all Praise, Honor and Glory!

Happy Blog Photo Challenge everyone! God bless!

TSMS-Draw Me Close To You

The song really comforted and reminded me how blessed I am that I have Jesus in my life. He's all I really want... He's all I ever needed...Have Him also in your heart. It was really so sweet singing this song during our devotion just this afternoon before we started our practice for tomorrow's service.
It was so refreshing. SOUL REFRESHING! Hope you will also experience how sweet God is( if ever you haven't experienced it being touched by God).

I was so thankful that God promoted me as Executive Secretary of the Administration Director, from being the Secretary of the Procurement Unit head and as the BAC Secretariat In-charge of the University where I am employed. And our Pastor's wife, Ate Mila Udang was the one who handled the Bible Study on the group I'm handling.

But I do really have mixed emotions. Just yesterday when I checked my ATM at UnionBank and made a withdrawal for a certain amount, the machine didn't dispense any money. It stated there " 0 " dispensed. Sadly, when I inquired for my balance, I was so startled to know that the amount I was trying to withdraw was already deducted. I was so disappointed with Unionbank's ATM now, VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. This was my third disappointing experience from their machine. Before, I just considered it since there machines were old already or shall I say obsolete. But now, they have their new sets of machines and new system, however it has frustrated me more. All I can do was sigh. I will not lose hope. I'll be able to get my salary back by faith. I'll just file a complaint about the incident on monday. Hope it will not take any longer to return my cash, because on February 24 will be my dad's 65th Birthday. But that incident will not hinder and stop me from thanking God.

I don't know your situation right now, but just ask God to touch you and let Him dwell in your heart. :) Remember, JESUS really loves you so much that he even offer His life for me and you. GOD bless you all and take care!

Happy TSMS!

Hearts Day Tuesday!

A personalized greeting card designed by yours truly.:)

The material used for the floral design and the accent were cut silk-worm cocoons bought at Salay Handmade Paper Industries, Inc.(SHAPII)now known as The Fair Trade Shop.

This is what is inside the card.

Today's meme really fits the celebration of Hearts Day. Thus my newly designed card perfectly matched the celebration. I made this to surprise Genesis. (Please don't give him a hint, to have some thrill...LOL...). He is out there at the True Love Waits (TLW) Symposium held at our University's Learning and Research Center. He's busy helping our brothers and sisters in Christ for the conducted event.

Blue Monday

These are fossilized leaves from Salay Handmade Paper Industries Inc. Perfect for personalized greeting cards. Especially for those planning to make Valentine Cards. Wondering what other materials I could match with these leaves to come up with a perfect design.

Three RED heart-shaped Styrofoams were decorated on a Blue wide-spaced wall from a certain Café and Restaurant in the City. Ready for the month of February.
What's with this month? Oh! Love Month. Since those three hearts captured my attention, I took some shots of it. But there were unwanted stuffs that were taken with it. So, I tried to edit the photo and it came up with this one. :)

Pour It All on Friday

Good day every one! Here’s my first meme.
I made this meme for all of us. This is where we can pour out and release all that we were feeling for the whole week. I am hoping that it can alleviate the heaviness of every heart from being depressed. Or share how God did great and awesome things in our lives to be able to survive the whole week. So let us start pouring our emotions and be relieved, be healed, and be freed. We can also share here our prayer requests.

I have been so down and lose the excitement in going to work. Starting from Monday until Thursday, I can really feel the burden of rushing through the deadlines of doing the necessary documents to support the procurement of different purchase requests in the university. It was so stressful and it really challenged the level of my patience. Adding up some matters that really affected my “to do” lists for the week. Being a secretary is really not an easy job or task. All communications must be screened and will pass through me. I have to absorb all the tensions especially if clients, suppliers, and end-users were already on fire and hot-tempered. Wisdom is really really needed to make wise and sound decisions, and only God whom I call and ask for wisdom. Must have to stay calm even callers and inquirers are not. I must have to pay respect even though they were the one wrong and they no longer treat me good. Can you just imagine a caller yelling at me immediately as I picked up and answered the phone? Whoa! What a great test of my attitude and character. But thank God, I was able to answer them calmly, respectfully, and clearly. Until such time, they realized that they were wrong and suddenly asked for an apology. God is really good!

I'm Made For You

Thankful Thursday-God’s Encouragement

As human with a corruptible body in this corruptible world, we really get tired physically, emotionally, mentally and also spiritually. When we face much life’s challenges and trials, slowly then we become tired and become very much stressful. Our hearts no longer want to receive and bear much pain. Our minds want to rest for a while after a great bewilderment. It wanted to stop thinking and be free from all stressful thoughts.

But what bothers most?

It bothers most if spiritually we felt so empty. Seems everything is falling down unto us and the weights causes much heaviness in the yoke that we are currently situated. We wanted to be happy, but it’s really hard to take the effort and make a step to be happy. As result, the excitement to work deviates. The eagerness to accomplish different work deadlines diminishes. Then slowly we become weak and lose life. That’s what I’m experiencing from the previous week. But thank God I get back through the right track again.

It was really so disappointing to know that others were talking about you negatively, even though you have done no wrong unto them. That all you did for them was all out of love, purity and righteousness. But others don’t see it as it is. They took all of it negatively. Their minds were so malicious and their acts showed contempt. They were so pessimistic. All you did was good, but for them it’s negative. When God abundantly bless you and made you prosper, they envied you and wanted to pull you down from the top. It is really true that we really can’t please everybody.

From this unwanted experience, I never stop talking and communicating with God. And I am so thankful that He really didn’t fail me. His words comforted me, reminded me and encouraged me. Just as this morning during our daily office devotion, the Lord encouraged me again with his words that says; “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:5. Also from 1 Peter 3:13-14; “Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.” Praise God for His goodness!

Have a very much Thankful Thursday everyone!
God Bless you all!

Feb. 8, 2012(WFW/BPC) - Simply, Forgiveness...

Project 366 Blog Photo Challenge

From being downhearted to great great joy.

“For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Matthew 6:14. That’s what Jesus told his disciples after teaching them how to pray. That is a direct linear relationship. “Do unto others what you want others do unto you”, the Golden rule.

Human’s principle and standards are very much opposite with God’s standard. How can we say it so?

Recalling what Jesus taught to his disciples; “Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:39.If a man is hurt or someone has sinned against him, he must have to avenge for himself; “…life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth...” Exodus 21:23-25, but God said, “Forgive”. If you were offended and your enemy is mocking you, in return you also throw insults and equate wickedness with wickedness. That is vengeance and pride. Remember, God will humble down those who are proud, and vengeance is not ours, it's his. He will be the one to repay what others have done to us. Don’t make a problem or a small fight become more chaotic and turn to a great war.

If we want to have peace, joy, and happiness, let us learn to forget what others have wrongly done to us and choose to forgive. It is really true that forgiving someone that has greatly broke and crushed us is not that easy and instant. It takes time and it’s a process. Just lay it down before the Lord and obey completely to His commands. Nothing is hidden in Him; he knows our hearts and thoughts. Surrender everything to Him to become very victorious. Isn’t it ironic? What can we do then? That’s His principle. He even said that “…Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:44-45.

Let us not allow being unforgiving shut the door of heaven and hinder God’s blessings to reach us. Let us not allow grudges and bitterness to keep us from moving on and be freed from the nightmares of our past. Simply forgive and be sweetly released! Then wait how God will work in our lives and those who have offended us. His hand is not short not to reach every heart that was broken.

Feb. 7, 2012-My RED Stuffs :)

Isn’t it obvious that I do love the color RED? To start with my red bag, this has been almost three years in service. Beside is a new Purpose Driven Life Book which was a birthday present from my honey Genesis in replacement to my old one borrowed by a friend. Third, is my newly bought HP net book as Christmas treat to myself. Lastly, the stuff behind the book is my red net book bag.
