Surprises Behind the No Water,No Electricity Holiday!

No work for today, April 9, 2012 here in the Philippines for it is a National Holiday: "Araw ng Kagitingan". My beloved Genesis and the Canaan Dynamics and Bohol Fantastic Travel and Tour Team need not to go to the office. However, there was a news and announcement that there will be a scheduled brownout for today. It was so sad to know about the news, but aside from no electricity, the water connection did not cooperate with us rather cooperated with the no lights schedule. But thanks be to God for favor and surprises were already ahead of us. One of our Business partners here in Bohol and at the same time our brother and sister in Christ; Mr. Ramil Lacerna with his beautiful and generous wife Mrs. Rufa Lacerna and the whole Family, entrusted to us their van so we could have a tour and enjoy the Island of Panglao. Thus, below are the evidence of our itinerary for today!

BPC 95/365 : First Glimpse of Bohol

Sharing my first glimpse of the Island of Bohol. This is a continuation of my BPC entry number 94/365. The ship docked in the Port of Tagbilaran City by 3:00 O' clock early in the morning. But we still have to wait until 5:30 for our hubbies to arrive and fetch us to our apartment.

BPC 94/365: On Board TransAsia 8 for Bohol

Finally it's Thursday, April 4, 2013! It's time to travel for Bohol for a month break and Summer Vacation. Hubby Genesis is already there ahead of me for business purposes together with his mentor and at the same time business partner and very close family friend, Manong Alvin G. La Victoria. 

With me on board in TransAsia 8 Vessel is Manong Alvin's beautiful wife; ate Elaine and their wonderful children Nux Hezekiah and Margaux Zurielle. My first travel to the Island of Bohol is so exciting and full of thrill. Our estimated time of departure is 7:00 p.m. however, I arrived at the port by 6:50P.M. though I was already set and ready as early as 5:00P.M. due to some instances and reasons.

Afraid to travel without me, Ate Elaine was worried already and planned to postponed our travel. But, thanks be to God for her and my hubby's prayer for I was able to catch the ship and did not forfeit our trip. The final call was already made, so I hurriedly get into the ship. Regardless of my heavy luggage, I was able to dash the ship from the departure area. As I went to our assigned bed/cottage, I excitedly searched for ate Elaine and kids. Finally, ate Elaine saw me and loudly mentioned my name "Cons!" together with the kids "Tita Cons!" and praising God I'm already on the ship! (If you only saw her face; It was indescribable and no words could express how "hapworried"; happy and worried she was.)Whew! what an experience! It was like an action movie being able to catch the final ride or undetonated or defused the bomb before it explodes on the set time. 

This is my entry for today's BPC!



 

A Once in a Lifetime Debut Celebration...

Lovely! Isn’t she?! With her unfading sweet and radiant smiles since her younger years until now, it makes her more beautiful. Flamboyant, intelligent, talented (has a beautiful voice, can dance and even can play different musical instruments), loving and friendly are some of her remarkable characteristics! That’s what makes the Debutante Ms. Precelnara Yecyec Rufino. 

 In addition, she loves fashion and design and we even both have dreams to run our own boutique or dress shop in cooperation with the rest of our sisters namely; Kristine Collin, Ivanne, Arciel and Aizel. We actually had our very own first enhanced-designed dress that she wore during their dance sports competition in the university she’s currently admitted to. I even acted as her “Stage Ate” since I’m the most immediate one available for now. 

To reveal a bit about her that makes us all miss her much when she’s away, aside from her sweet and loving acts, are her punch lines and bloopers (we look at it not as a negative side of her but a positive and constructive way of building her up. ;) No offense my dear little sis) 

As her sister in Christ and sister- in-law, we had so much time spent together (especially now she’s living with us with my hubby Genesis and their older brother Gideon). Cooking, shopping, doing household tasks, movie marathon, food trip, attending to her school events, going to the mall, watching movies in the big screen and many more fun and special activities are our bonding moments . I am so blessed to have a sister like her. Since I don’t have any sister or brother genetically, I am very much thankful to God that one of my packages of best gifts that He gave me is her; the instant sisterhood relationship we have that is worth treasuring. 

On her 18th Birthday, my hubby and I gladly made our unforgettable and personally designed tarpaulin gift for her. It is so sad to think that we can’t be with you during your debut celebration because we were committed to attend our church family camp. But I know, you are already mature enough to understand us right?  That is why we came up to make this post for you. Hope you will like it. We love you “Piglet Ping-ping”. May God bless you more abundantly and exceedingly.
